Avocado crop nutrition program 🥑

Foliar feeding targets the nutritional needs of the plant, providing specific and rapid response

By delivering nutrients directly to the actively growing parts of the plants, such as the leaves or specific organs, they are readily available for uptake by the plant.

Avocados are mainly produced in the central areas of Mexico and account for around 90% of avocado production. Avocado production is all year round with 2 or 3 flowering seasons

In the first few years, the aim is to promote structure and growth of the tree, and here in Mexico, the following avocado crop nutrition program has been used with amazing results:

•  To promote physiological response in plant tissues –
  Apply OMEX Bio 20 & Kingfol Zn
• To improve plant nutrient health and disease resistance of the plant –
  Apply OMEX DP98

Excellent coverage of OMEX foliar nutrients, quickly absorbed through the leaves

When the plant starts the flowering process the following avocado crop nutrition program is used:

•  Apply OMEX Bio 20 and OMEX CalMax Super (Gold) to promote flowering and fruit set
•  Apply OMEX CalMax Super to increase yield & improve firmness, storability, colour & finish
• Apply OMEX K41 to improve the size and quality of the avocado’s

Furthermore, we also recommend Kingfol Zn and OMEX DP98 be applied throughout the cycle to promote health and stimulate the roots.
